I got nothing bad to say about him, he never did a thing to me. Most people have never lost a child and know how it changes a person, Bob knows and I know, I hope none of you ever have to know. It is something terrible that never goes away and you will carry it on your back everyday and it will haunt you ever day until you start blaming yourself. I consider Bob a friend and always will and will never have a bad thing to say towards him or his family. I don't get on here much but when I read the above quote I couldn't help but agree with Grump. We lost our 21 year old son 10 years ago and there isn't a day goes by that I don't think about him. Was my trapping partner and beginning to surpass his mentor but that was OK. One thing about Bob he doesn't give a shit what people might think he say's it like it is and that's what it's all about. Tens years here too, April 22 , 2007, worst morning of my life and the worst phone call of my life, he was just 13 yrs. old,,feels like it just happened yesterday, they say it gets better with time,,,it does not get better with time. I am sorry to hear about your son, make life tough to deal with at times but ya just got to keep plowing along. Sure would be nice if we could go back in time and change the bad stuff. |

Amen for my friend Grump and what he has had to deal with. One of the few originals and free thinkers on here. Life can be very cruel.
Bob is a narcissist and an asshole on his best day. He is probably off denning and clubbing red fox pups somewhere and not plugged in to the Drama Queen Site. And enjoying every minute. He will be back, guaranteed.

Not really out west.. I used to always start on yotes and fox on the 15th of oct, so probably about right. IF he doesn't have permissions probably a bit late actually...

Pretty muddy here and sounds like more coming in the next few days, eastern Mt. might be drier near the N.D. border but I think this ground will be frozen as hard as a rock by the 15-20 Nov, if not earlier as wet as it is and the night temps are dropping into the 20's. Oh well !
