A problem with a lot of these charities is the people running them are skimming a lot of money off the top. Salaries, cars, big houses etc. Wounded Warrior comes to mind. Great idea but only a small percentage made it to the servicemen/women that deserved it. I send my donation directly to the intended party if possible. Do your homework first.

I think what amazes me more than anything is this place is and always was a place for voicing concerns, asking questions no matter how hard the questions are! I disagree with some in regards of (more of a morbid curiosity than anything). Why did he not have insurance, fall on bad times?, did it lapse, did it not cover helicopter costs? They all dictate if or how much I will give. To me it is not a judgement lets say like someone having to get on here every time hard questions get asked and state something like this "The same two malcontents always spewing the same garbage". That is what gets old! If you want some of my money I would like to know reasons why so you are not coming back in a week, month, year, etc. asking for more. Fair/not fair well then too bad you do not get it. I also see it as...well if he could not afford insurance then I would suggest maybe some of this goes to Andy's family for insurance as well. That is the way you provide solutions. I have nothing against Andy seems like a nice enough guy, heck I have even sold glands to him. A lot of you guys need to get over your PERSONAL CRAP!

Angela I'm not sticking up for Mr. Weiser, I dont know him from butkus and I'm not promoting his auction or go fund me drive. In fact I'll tell you straight out I wont be donating any money.

When you were running the fund raiser for Jackie I never once gave you flack on the threads promoting those drives while they were in progress. Not once.

Do I think it's irresponsible to not have insurance on ones self and more importantly, their loved ones? Damn right! I'm not running from nor denying anything. I think if a person, unless truly indigent, doesnt have insurance or the means to pay for their care out right, tough shit.

Just because you have insurance these days doesn't mean you aren't gonna pay a shit load out of pocket.

Believe me, I just had a kid under Obamacare. Makes me wonder where my $990 a month premium check goes for what we had to pay out of pocket.

I had to laugh when I got my cataracts out. So the insurance will remove the lense for the cataract, but replacing it is considered cosmetic surgery. Well....... a man has got to see,LOL!!!!!!

been out shearing trees, like I do every morning before the heat gets too bad for very physical labor swinging a long shearing knife, you know, to be able to afford the things we need. so I`m out there thinking about this imo truly evil woman that posts on here. no kids, no insurance,no one but herself( I can see why), saying she would kill herself except she wants to stay alive to hurt my good friend robert , any way she can. maybe not my place to say, but robert is suppporting the family of his dead brother killed in action. never asks for a dime and never even lets it be known. then here comes this nasty nasty excuse for a human saying her only purpose to be alive is to hurt him. man, that`s rich.

If you can convince any of my landowners you can even begin to work or even to catch ten percent of what I do then knock yourself out!! I only work the for the landownetrs that I like.
