I used to run some called "Turf Busters", not a lot of space between the lugs to pick up sharp sticks etc and go threw the tire in those lugless spots. I did not like the ones with the lug bars across the tire like a farm tractor either they rode rougher than a 2 dollar whore.

I hear that Grump the wifes wheeler has new ITP "Mud Lites" and they rattle the piss out of you on the hard trails/roads. They are great in soft ground just not nice on my back.

Got on line and ordered tires. On my porch in a couple days. Good price and no shipping and I like the tires.

I got the ITP MUD LITE. Put them on an old Polaris 250 that I use mainly on the farm. If I remember right, they were some of the less expensive with less agressive tread. Don't need to be tearing up things out changing irrigation water. Kind of my opinion on running out in the brush too. The stock tires that were on the machine were forever needing air, these ITP's just seem to stay up.

Bear Claws are a good tire for snow. Tread isn't but 3/4'' deep, but give lots of floatation. Another trick for snow with tractor type tread is to run them backwards, they grab the snow better. For mud, use them in the proper direction of rotation. I had the ITPs with the deep tread and they weren't as good as the tread made you think they'd be. Turned them around for the snow and they were better, but the lugs are so deep, the carcass is small. Not as good a floatation for snow and the deep tread just helped dig you in deeper. The small carcass size ment you were breaking more snow than you needed to. That deep tread flexed a lot and broke the cords in the carcass before there was any signifigant wear on the tread. Ran 5 lbs of pressure, probably should have been 10 lbs to keep the flex down. No tread depth over 3/4'' is needed, IMO. Chain up, if you need more.

Here's another one. I'm nearly 10,000 miles into the '08 Suzuki 750 and have had no maintenence problems, until now. Just regular oil changes and a drive belt. Just replaced all the suspension bushings and pins, rusted and worn out. Parts were $430, though I have found a less expensive place to order from since then. I did install grease zirks as I installed the new parts. I've got one CV boot that let loose the other day, so searched for new ones. OEM are either $40+ or $70+ each, depending on where they fit. Rocky Mountain ATV has aftermarket boots for $12.99 each, made by All Balls. I bought the whole set, figuring they were all getting shabby with the miles on the bike. $103 for the whole works w/ free shipping and they got here overnight.
