cage trap destroyed

Can any of you cage trappers tell me what might have done this to my trap, i have had it 2 years and taken several coons in it in my attempt to catch a cat in it, it was set and fine at 6:30 am this morning, my son wanted to ride down there and check traps this evening since he missed this mornings check, so we rode the 4-wheeler down and this is what was waiting for us, any input would be apprieciated. also can i splice onto the front for a repair, i know one thing, there will be an extra bar or 2 welded accross the front, also all the brush was knocked off the cage away front it, not pulled in normally like coons do when they shred it

you have wild boar in your trapping area.i seen someone post a pic like that befor and a boar was the culpret

no wild boars, but we do have a lazy wanta be pig farmer down the way who has pigs running all the time, if it is that, he and i have talked, the hog roast will be on , i guess i was thinking wild aniamls, not domestic, that is a possiblity

the cage size by the way is 15x18x36

well i got it back together, re-ringed the whole front, rewelded all the welds on the door, added a bar across the middle, got the hole patched and put her back out to see if it will hold anything

That door looks like it is bent in, telling me it was hit from the outside. And the cage looks mangled like someone used a stick to twist & pry with.
