Looking for a fur drum. Minimum of 4 feet wide and 4 feet high.
Something fairly heavy duty like used to drum carcass mink in after dispAtchison before they are pelted.

You might get lucky and find one close by....but I would plan on building one. Super hard to locate. Good luck.

I suspect a lot of drums sitting around at both fox and mink ranches, and some taxidermists too. try an ad on taxi net and what ever site caters to fur farmers. bet there is one. also bet some defunct country buyers have some . an ad in the furtaker may generate some response. if you have to drive far or have it shipped probably that cost would exceed building one yourself. or get the poor mans drum..a leaf blower.

Try matt carlson at minnesota mink, hes usually got stuff like that he collects for sale. Todd could build you a nice one too, his work quality is impeccable.

I suspect alot of mink ranchers will be disposing of equipment. Also believe I can buy cheaper than I can build. Greg Schroeder at the Cambridge Depot has several nice ones they use. He purchased them for $350 each.

$350 for 4-5 coyotes are easier to catch than build one.

The old Mills drums used to be a dime a dozen in MN back in the early 90s.
I wonder how many are tucked away in corners and in piles of “junk”?.
I tried for a few years to get my hands on one. Anytime one would come up for sale it was sold almost immediately.
Got one made by Monstertoms. Very happy with it.
