I wonder if a guy could eliminate the foot pedal and add a rubbing post to activate the trigger?

I am certain it could be done.
My concern would be that you would miss cats when they don't feel like rubbing and only feel like smelling.

Nothing secret dirt. Just some over the counter lure.
Some rub in it and others don't.
I was just trying to get some discussion from all the hot dog cagers here on "cage trap heaven". Geuss I thought wrong.
