Dwaine it was so nice of you to share this info with me when you did, and I'm glad you finally made it known to everyone, that was so dishonest of them to do that, because like you, I like to support American made products, now I have to wonder what else those people have fed us that isn't true, I still think they would have sold those traps to plenty of people, even if they would have be honest and said they were made over seas.
I value you as a good friend, and you know I will stand with you through this whole thing, well done!!!

Everybody is dishonest to a degree. Who doesn't sew up pelt defects hoping a grader wont find them.

it is if you say none were sewed. if I say none were sewed, then none were sewed. the dealers wanting them sewed are figuring they can pass the screw job on to the end user, resulting in end users docking all coyotes, assuming a % are sewed always. so in the end, those of us that trap coyotes that don`t need sewing are the real victims.

Yeah them trim companys don't ever cut anything up and resew anything. All those pelts they "let out" are naturally that size.
Spend a little time at "Red-White-Blue" ruff manafacturers and see how much they cut stuff and resew it faster than you can tie your shoe.
Ridiculous argument.

Be like saying CDX Plywood manufacturers only want wood with no knots, and no football inlays.
Maybe if we were talking select veneer logs we could compare with select no hole coyotes. Yeah there is a market for that high end, but most everything fits into the standard use.
If that was the case, Colorado for certain would not sell a coyote killed in this state. About 99.5% get hammered with a rifle, or a Powerstroke.

Just Bobby figuring out a way to make something be about himself.
Ignorant argument. A close second to Gus's recent rant.
Just his nature.

democrats, want the guys producing non sewed coyotes to get the same price as their sewed coyotes. it doesn`t fly. fwiw, 100% of my coyotes last year were made into coats, not ruffs. 100%. the coats are done and on the racks in the stores, and many already sold. my buyer would not be interested in your sew jobs.

let me add, same deal on the green bellied but barely saved from extended snare cks. when the green bellies slip at the tannery who ever is the next guy selling they have to dock his coyotes, assuming the same % slippers will be in every batch. I saw my coyotes after they came back from the tannery this spring, zero slipping, zero tearing in the tanning process. they are very anxious to seeme again next spring.

And Canada goose is patiently waiting for the new season to begin for the shot up coyotes that were sewed. Amazing aint it, simply Fing amazing.

I have talked to more than a couple of buyers, noone ever asked if I was sewing coyotes. They dont care, and can find em anyway, if they are worth their salt, and guess what, no downgrade. When I grow up I want to be like bob. I already have level 9 adaptability on mindcraft, so im well on my way.
