denny,
I sell a 5 1/2", 6" and a 6 1/2" fox board. The 6 1/2" is a nafa pattern. there is no way a grey will fit it properly. just to wide in neck and shoulder area. When i got into board makin about 10 years ago i got my 5 1/2" and 6" pattern from an amish board maker. The 5 1/2" will fit most late born pups and smaller female greys. The 6" is a nice adult grey fox board. Your late born red and small female reds fit the 6" board nicely. The 6 1/2" is for the standard red fox. I do have an adjustable fox board i worked on for a couple years. You can set it at the 5 1/2" mark and it will almost exactly match up with the 5 1/2" solid board. If you open it to the 6" mark it will almost exactly match up with the 6" solid board i sell. Then if you open it up to the 6 1/2" mark. It will almost exactly match up to the 6 1/2" solid board. Everything is within 1/8". On a fox 1/8" means nothing in stretcher width. I just came in from my shop for the night. If you want i can get pictures of the 3 size fox boards for you.

No but from the sounds of it the adjustable is the way to go.
I don't see any prices for coyotes though, adjustable.

I have an adjustable coyote stretcher which is $10.00. They can get expensive to ship at times because of the length. They are 6 foot long. Some of the best built you will find. The center board here is a solid coyote stretcher. 9" wide at the base. They are $9.00 each
