I'll bet you'll find out just how much of a smooth ride comes from the tires and how little comes from the suspension. Run-flats have to be rough riding. Never tried them, so I can't testify to that. I put Slime in the tires and don't worry about flats.

I run Slime in my tires as well. Also carry a plug kit and a couple of cans of aerosol air in case of an emergency.

Hey lynx, they come out with this stuff called "Bullet Proof" I seen it on a web site. They have been using it in Army Veh. in the War for years, you put it in your tires like slime and it will seal up I think up to 2 1/2" hole. I'll see if I can find the web site again. The stuff is high priced, like $190 a gallon, but I don't think it take as much per tire as slime does, plus it would be worth it. No more flats to deal with!!! I think they sale another one a little cheaper for smaller hole like 1" or 1 1/2" holes. If I find the site I'll let you know!

Hey lynx, I was wrong about a few things!!! Its been awhile since I read about this stuff, but here it is! I found both on gemplers.com Ultaseal Tire Sealant - Commercial Grade 5 gal. $184.95 Permantly seals tire punctures caused by objects up to 1/4" in diameter. 1 gal. $49.50
Ultaseal Tire Sealant - Bulletproof - Grade 5 gal. $219.95 Permantly seals tire punctures caused by objects up to 1/2" in diameter. 1 gal. $59.50
Both of the above will last the life of the tire!!
Hope this helps!! I plan on getting some for my Honda Foreman 450 4x4, Kubota RTV 900 4wd

coolest deal I ever saw a guy had a big 6" pipe bumper , sealed both ends and put in an air fitting and pumped it up couple hundred lbs. carried a coiled up 20 foot air hose behind the set. need air, just hook onto bumper and other end to tire nozzle air fitting. prolly all those guys at the nevada sale be out stealing all his air ,fluffing up cats. be good to use on trap theives and such too. just hog tie them and make air baloons outn the sob`s . all kinda cool uses.

Bob, all that compressed air in the bumper would make the truck heavier and get better traction in the snow.

Yes that is the stuff, great around here for cactus and the sharp little branches from pine trees when mountain riding.

That's the stuff I put in my atv tires before a trip to South Dakota. It's alot more rough terrain than what I'm use to in MS so I didn't want to take any chances.
